Drum loops for GarageBand are in AIFF format for Apple Loops. These files contain project markers and will automatically match the tempo of a GarageBand project.

The Optional Markers File is an audio file containing the markers and tempo for the entire song structure. Drag and drop this file into the first lane of a new project’s arrange window, and your program will ask you to add the proper markers and tempo.

This is optional and is not necessary to use when creating songs with our loop packs.
